This listing is for a used Model ElectricSewing Machine from The White Sewing Machine Company! The White 77MG was made from 1938 through 1955, the serial number77MG-79806 probably puts it closer to the 50s.Why buy a new machine made to last a year (if you\'re lucky) when you can buy one built when they made them to last! This is a very heavy duty sewer made to perform! The casting is magnesium with a beautiful green crinkle finish. The case is included along with the keys. A nice bonus is the key fob is a 67 year-old antique token! It is marked \"Pageant of Progress Rod Mill Opening 1949\" and has the CF&I Thunderbird logo fromColorado Fuel and Iron. It also had a handy little Magnetic Seam Guide from Dritz attached so we are keeping it all together.
This machine isin excellent condition, with the exception of the cord. Both the machine and base are in excellent condition showing hardly any of the 60+ years it has seen. The wire\'s outer cover has cracked in several locations, you can see them better in close-up in the last pic. There is a second layer so no wires are exposed. It still works great butwe would definitely recommend that be serviced before putting into regular use.The only other issue worth mentioning is the case, which looks to have done it\'s job, protecting the machine. There is some scuffing and the stains that can be seen in the pics. It is structurally sound both inside and out, closes securely, and even still has the keys! The motor is quiet and runs smoothly when the the pedal is pushed. It operated correctly with all knobs and levers moving freely. Both adjustments changed the length of the stitches and the bobbin winder turned when engaged, no further testing was done. All told this is a wonderful example with just enough \"character\" to make a beautiful, working display piece. What a great gift for the antique lover!
TheThreading Diagramcan be found online here courtesy listing is for the machine and accessoriespictured, they are all in the condition described showing wear consistent with normal use.Guaranteed to operate as described. We are not versed in this equipment, therefore any buyer accepts that there may be issues unknown to us at the time of testing and accepts this possibility when buying.

We are also not able to determine whether all functions operate as intended, so if there are functions that have not been described or tested please ask before buying! Please research this equipment thoroughly to make sure it will work for you before buying!
As always with vintage items, we give them a quick dusting but we leave the original finish so the buyer can decide whether or not they want to do any restoration. We know enough to realize that sellers who spray these with a can of WD-40 and call it \"Refurbished\" are doing more harm than good, so we leave any oiling to the professionals. As with all vintage equipment a little preventative maintenance goes a long way. So even though this unit is working as described, it would be wise to have a quick tune-up to protect your investment.
Vintage sewing machines in excellent condition sell for $500 or more!If our listed BIN price isn\'t within your budget please don\'t hesitate to send us a reasonable offer, we\'ll get back to you right away!Buyer pays the actual shipping cost as calculated by !*
* We package these very carefully, which means the outer box is very large. Because of this UPS bills us by \"dimensional weight\" instead of the actual weight! From our previous response you will findthis care, and expense, is much appreciated!
