This sale is for a Vintage 1951 STERLING Silver SWIMMING TROPHY.

The Trophyreads \"COUNTY OF LONDON SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS REPLICA OF CHALLENGE TROPHY\" on the one side and \"Breast Stroke P. Hockley\" on the other side.

The trophy was produced by the Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. England and is dated for the year 1951.

The footed trophy, whichis in very good condition (could use a polish) with noissues, weighs approximately 167 grams(not including the wood base) andmeasures approximately 6 inchesacross the handles and 4 inches across the bowl with a height of the bowl at 2 3/4 inches and the overall height of the trophy at 4 1/4 inches.
