Up for sale is a vintage 1952 Sheaffer Snorkel. It features a solid gold snorkel tube.The cap is in excellent condition and has been polished.
The barrel is in excellent condition with no significant scratches visible.
The pen has been conservatively hand-polished to a fine sheen with a thin coating of Renaissance Wax for long-term preservation.
All seals have been replaced and lubricated with silicone grease for maximal suction.
It has been fitted with a brand new talced sac. It fills easily with excellent suction.
The nib is solid palladium-silver and has been polished to a high gloss.
The trim on this pen is in great condition.This is a first-year Snorkel, and has the solid 14k gold fill tube.The pen will be shipped to you in a small padded envelope with tracking and insurance, for free.
