1955 New York Mini License Plate Disabled American Veteran Tag on a Keychain: Silver tone.This was an actual miniature reproduction of an automobile license plate. These were issued by the Disabled American Veterans from 1941 thru 1976. Sent to a household with their actual license plate on the tag, postage was guaranteed and the finder of lost keys would simply deposit these into a mailbox and the keys would be sent back to the owner.This Miniature License Plate measures 1.25\" long x 1/2\" wide.
