Featured here for your offerding amusement is this vintage 1956 Napco ceramic salt shaker in the form of an anthropomorphic watermelon head girl tennis player! Made in Japan, she stands 4” tall. She is but one half of a set of shakers, but might be useful if you are on the hunt to complete a set. In the second to the last picture I show what her pepper shaker friend would look like—a lemon head boy in blue pants with his tennis racquet (not included). Napco made a number of anthropomorphic fruit and veggie sets, and you could mix and match them, but the sets were also themed according to activity—hobby, sports or music, for example. In the last picture I show a lemon head salt shaker art lover (not included) that I have in a separate listing. She could stand in as a mate if you wanted. After all, it would be fun to collect them all!
