UP FOR SALE IS AN OLD AND BEAUTIFUL NATIVITY CRECHE MADE FROM A CARDBOARD BOX BY IDEAL BACK IN 1958.
BABY JESUS IS PLASTIC WITH MOVABLE ARMS REACHING UP TO BLESS US ALL.
THIS CARDBOARD BOX IS DESIGNED IN THE STYLE OF A LARGE COFFEE TABLE STYLE BOOK.
OPEN THE COVER AND STAND UP THE CARDBOARD JOSEPH AND OTHER FIGURE AND YOU HAVE AN INSTANT NATIVITY SCENE. THERE IS SOME OLD TAPE ON THE POPUP FIGURES (THEY NO LONGER STAND ON THEIR OWN) - I DID NOT REMOVE IT BECAUSE I THINK IT WILL TAKE OFF THE PICTURE. i WOULD PROBABLY CUT IT BACK AND LEAVE IT IN PLACE IF I OWNED THIS.
THE BOX IS WATER STAINED ON SEVERAL SIDES AND IT HAS DIRTY AND DUSTY FROM BEING STORED IN THE ATTIC. IT ALSO HAS DINGS AND SOME SEPARATION IN THE CARDBOARD ALONG THE SEAMS BUT SHOULD NOT BE SENT TO A LANDFILL!!
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS - 16 1/2\" X 12 1/2\" X 4\" DEEP
WITH A FEW TOUCH UPS MAYBE WITH COLOR MARKERS - OR LIGHT WIPING OF BLACK SHOE POLISH ALONG THE SIDES ALONG WITH A LIGHT CLEANING WITH A DAMP CLOTH AND SHOULD BE A FABULOUS AND INTERESTING CONVERSATION PIECE TO DISPLAY AT YOUR HOLIDAY DECORATING.
NEEDS SOME TENDER LOVING CARE BUT STILL A BEAUTIFUL SCENE.
IT IS DIFFICULT TO KEEP PAPER AND CARDBOARD FOR 56 YEARS
