*Vintage 1960s Retro Mid Century WOOLWORTHS SHOPPING BASKET Atomic Starburst Diamond Pattern*

A sturdy, well made shopping basket used at Woolworths Store in 1960\'s. Was purchased with store basket holder from local estate. It appears to be made of a reinforced vinyl material. It has a strongmetal frame with a heavy vinyl covering. It measures approximately 10\" wide x 17\" long and 7 1/4\" high (not including handle). This was a commercially used item so has normal soil and wear from this type of use but is generally in good condition with no rips or holes (see photos). Great sixties diamond pattern with atomic starbursts in colors of red, black, gold and silver. It does show well andmakes a fun piece to look at and is very useful for all kinds of storage needs.
