BEAUTIFUL 1960\'S VINTAGEPAPIER MACHÉ LADIES\' HEAD PIN CUSHION

7-1/2\" H. x 3\" W. x 2-1/2\" D.

An estate find, this lovely paper maché figurine was most probably created in the studio of the famous artist, Gemma Taccogna. This vintage pin cushion is signed simply \"MEXICO\" on the bottom, and dates from the early 1960\'s. Hand painted in shades of turquoise, green, cream and black; the lady\'s face has brown eyes and hair to match the \"hat.\" Condition: The brown velvet pin cushion has lost most of its nap, and has one dent as well as many pin holes. There is a small chip on the tip of the lady\'s nose; some dirt around the neckline (I haven\'t attempted cleaning); and some wear and chips along the bottom edge. All are visible in my pics.
