1964 Firestone Vintage Porcelain Enamel sign
A 4\' x 12\' in two section classic Firestone porcelain enamel sign. This is a beauty here. Comes in 2 sections of 4\' x 6\'. Lets start with the red, very clean and still a glossy look, seems to be displayed inside of the dealership. I am sorry for the light glare on the sign. There are some minor imperfections to the red, but no scratches that are deep, no rust (rust around the eyelets), and very clean. On the right middle end there is a small hole where some rust built around it. The white, has some rust around the eyelets, the edges and some closer the the red. There is an imperfection that is on the lower left corner, the material is all there it just has been folded up. All the rust looks to be repairable with a light sand and some touch-up paint. The back has also been coated with an enamel to keep from being in bad shape. These signs in great shape are getting harder and harder to find, cause once bought, they usually get stored outside and let it hit weather. This looks like it never had that chance yet. Clearly a must have for any die hard sign collector. The bottom reads AS 772 Made in USA SPS 64. Please see all pictures for better details. Any questions feel free to ask.
