This is a large, beautifuloriginal Stroh\'s Beer lighted sign from 1969. My camera does no justice to this one! This cool 3D, beer-tray shaped sign is made of a very heavyplastic and measures over 19\" long, almost 13\" wide and is 2½\" deep.
This signis an awesomeblood-red plastic witha black boarder and has \"Stroh\'s\" (in white) which is below thelarge, shiny goldraised Lion section with the light behind that.
It may be hard to see in my photos but at thebottom there is another raised black sectionwith shiny gold lettering that says \"From one beer lover.. to another.\" It also has below that in tiny black letters \"The Stroh Brewery Co. Detroit, Mich.48226, 6970-13\".
The sign has an unusually long, original cord withit\'s in-line switchthat does work and it also has on the back 3 un-used, thickfoam peal-n-stick strips. I am not sure these will still work due to the age of the sign.
I lightly dusted it off with a damp micro-fiber and besides a light scuff or two from age I can see no damage whatsoever! I have searched everywhere on here and can\'t find another one like it so I assume this is a rare one? This original47 year old sign is in excellent condition for it\'s age with absolutely beautiful color!
