Here is a fairly rare 1970 Nebraska Cornhuskers National Champions stein with the Omaha World Herald headlines. This is a white ceramic stein with red printing. Graphics are pretty good.Displays various headlines that appeared in Omaha World Herald on January 2, 1971 after Nebraska beat LSU in the 1971 Orange Bowl to capture their first national title. Stein roughly 6 1/2 inches tall,there are issues with this stein. There is a crack on lower portion of handle & also one by the upper part of handle that goes into the rim. Also has some flaws on the flat surfaces of stein, flea marks if you will. Would grad it like a 4 of scale of 10. Still a great vintage Nebraska football item from 1971.
