Vintage 1970 PIONEER CS-55 LOUDSPEAKERS 2 Way. One owner and very efficient. 10\" woofers and 3\" tweeters with a 5 1/4\" factory bass port - all in very good working condition - no rattles or static.
The wood lattice grills have no breaks and look great. Rated at 40 watts 8 ohms. You can use two types of connections on back - either a push in jack or a 2 wire connection. Unlike the other CS series of speakers that have multiple driver units, this early model only has two speakers, (like the early Advent Loudspeakers), so the music isn\'t dependent on more power to drive multiple units. Made when Pioneer was a highly desired stereo components manufacturer - made in Japan.
Fairly large and heavy - veneer strips are missing on the back edges as shown. The fronts look great. Bottoms have some light scratches and swirls - tops aren\'t perfect but nice condition as shown. 22 3/4\" H, 15.5\" W x 12\" D. All screws present. Will provide one pair of speaker wires.
