Vintage 1970 Repro Pedestal 3D Stereo Viewer Stereoviewer Stereoscope+ 20 3D Viewer Cards of Various Subjects . Excellent have collected 3D photo memorabilia for 30+ years and it\'s time that I let some of my prized collectibles go.
This is a beautiful vintage 1970s reproduction of an original Victorian-era Stereoscope. It isvintage, but NOT an antique - It is much classier than most viewers out there. The viewer can beused as pictured with its pedestal, or can be easily lifted off the stand for handheld viewing. The other classy reproduction viewer of the time was made by Taylor Merchant Company in NY - Those are nice, but this one is so much better!
The hood is made of thick durable leather which will not break or chip. It is extra large so stereoviews can be viewed correctly by those who wear glasses. The The optics are clean, clear and far superior to what an original antique viewer would have since these are made in the 20th century. Everything works on the viewer as intended! The viewer is in Excellent condition with just slight wear from (mostly) sitting in a cabinet for 40 years. This viewer is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Also included is 20 Victoria-era stereoview cards to accompany the viewer. They are all inExcellent condition and can be seen in my photos. Eight are real photograph stereo cards madeby the Keystone company and the other are high quality color lithographed stereo view cards. Allwere made approximately 1904.
