Large Queen (?) Conch shell handpainted in The Phillipines during the Vietnam Era circa 1970. Measures 8 inches wide by 11 inches long by 9 and 1/2 inches high at highest spire tip. Note that all measurements are approximate. Small chip on end of highest spire and along the base of the shell there are a few. Tried to weigh it on my home scale but it weights over 5 pounds so cannot. This handpainted shell ia a souvenier of the USS Flint, an ammunition ship. here is a bit of paint so that some words are incomplete. Please see pictures and ask any questions prior to offerding.
