I to present you a used 56cm Galmozzi Classic Racing Bike from the 1970s! The Galmozzi road racer, is a fine and rare piece of craftsmanship from Milan, Italy. The bike is still in solid shape with no dents or cracks, but it does have some minor minor scuffs and paint chips here and there, but over all it still looks great cosmetically and is in excellent mechanical condition. On a scale 1 to 10, I would call this one a 9.49 :-)

Background on the bike

The Galmozzi came to me via a friend, a coworker who is has been retired for the last 4 to 5 years. He is a Mechanical Engineer by trade and he was into cycling and liked old vintage road bikes. He bought this bike new in Chicago, Illinois, back in the 70s. Since moving to California the bike was ridden a couple of seasons and then it hung from the rafters in the garage for the past 20+ years. Fast forward to 2016, I received communication that my coworker was looking for me and was given his phone number. That\'s the back ground on how I received the bike. Essentially, he gave me all the bike stuff he had laying around and I have been selling all of it for him when I can get the time. I wish I had a before and after picture of the clean up. The bike had significant grime and dirt from being hung in the a garage for many many years. All the aluminum was cardboard color and color of the frame was barely peaking out from all the dust. All I did was take the garden hose, a soft polypropylene brush, and a solution of laundry detergent and water in a bucket and carefully cleaned the bike. I did not do any polishing or anything like that. So, what you see in the pictures is this beautiful Vintage Galmozzi Road Bike from the 1970\'s. Essentially, all the grim and dust protected the finish of the frame and all the aluminum. If you are looking for Galmozzi, then you should not pass this one up. If you haven\'t scene the prices of this particular Galmozzi, then you know my start price is half of some of the Galmozzi\'s that have been posted on and those were not up to par with the condition of this bike.

Special Note:

I am not a business, but I do like making extra funds to support my own bicycle hobby, but these days most of the extra funds goes to my kid in college. If there was some way I can get her from avoiding minor car accidents, then I can get back to tooling around in the garage on my own bicycle projects.

Hope you offer… I take great care in checking that my sale items are working and make sure that my descriptions match what is being sold. Oh Yeah, don\'t hesitate to ask any question that you may have. I know you have a bunch of other sellers to choose from, but why gamble with a seller whose rating is subpar. I have +1068 and counting positive responses since 2001.
