Vintage Lucerne gold tone wind-up pendant watch, made in Switzerland in the 1970s. The face is white with a gold tone six-pointed star, covered by a transparent glass case with agold tone ring around it. In the centre is a white dial with clear gold tone numbers and markers and gold tone hour and minute hands. Lucerne, L.M. and Swiss Made are printed in black on the dial.

The back of the pendant is engraved with an intricate abstract design.

The pendant has a triangular-shaped attachment at the top with a small ring for hanging on a chain (not supplied). The small ring currently attached is silver in colour and misshapen so I would recommend replacing it. The crown is beneath this: thiscan be used to wind up the watch (in theory - see below) or pulled out to change the time setting (still works).

The face is about 3.5 cm in diameter, or 4 cm including the triangular chain attachment. The pendant is about 1 cm thick and weighs around 28 g.

The watch is not working but is externally in a good condition for its age. There are some light scratches on the metal case and some of the gold colouring has come off around the sides and on the back of the triangular attachment.
