Lester is the ventriloquist figure of Willie Tyler. They have traveled all over the country performing their special blend of comedy. Lester Dummy, The Ventriloquist Doll, is one of the most Famous, Celebrity Ventriloquist Dummies Created by Willie Tyler in the 1960s. Tyler And Lester The Dummy, Performed In Talent Contests, & Variety Shows Such As The Merv Griffin Show, Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, The Parent’ Hood, The Jefferson’s, The Flip Wilson Show, & The Hollywood Palace. Lester was the first vent to appear on David Letterman’s Ventriloquist Week. Lester performed with Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrel, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jay Leno. Lester also toured with some of the greats of Motown, including…Smokey Robinson, The Supremes, The Miracles, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, and The Four Tops. Lester Doll is wearing plaid pants with matching hat, yellow vest, white turtleneck and spectacles. Lester is approximately 24 in length. Lester’s mouth is operated via a string affixed to the back of his head. For easy operation, just hold the head with one hand and pull the string with your other. Lester will now look like he is talking.
