This listing is for a Original Vintage 1970\'s Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird Bass Guitar Hard Shell Case. The purple lining indicates this case originally came with a 1976 Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird Bass Guitar. These cases are very rare and hard to find. What is also really cool about this case is that is has a stencil on the case from the band \"Blue Angel\" which was Cyndi Lauper\'s first band when she was a punk rocker in NYC in the 1970\'s. The case is in good shape for it\'s age but does show some typical wear and tear from being on the road for many years. The handle is in good shape and all the latches are intact and working well. The interior is in relatively good shape and the purple lining is nice and clean. The lining is showing some minor separation from the sides in a few places which is very typical and easily fixable. The exterior of the case is also in relatively good shape. The Gibson logo has started to wear off but is still easily visible. The case has some wear on the back sides where the tolex has worn off to thw wood and the case has nicks and scuffs , see pics. There is some tape around the edges in one place and the corners of the case show wear. The case is used and shows wear but is still in good functional condition and these cases are really hard to find and will work well with a T-Bird Bass. Please look at the pictures and email with questions or for exact dimension but this case is really only for a Gibson Reverse body Thunderbird bass guitar.
