This is a vintage 1980\'s unusual burgundy snakeskin purse made byW.A. Thompson & CO of NewYork-Paris.. This gorgeous bagmeasures8 inches long to the half moon shape, 10 in across the top and 2 1/4 in depth .The inside of the purse is lined with textured rust color suede. There is a zippered pocket as well as an open pocket. The clasp is magnetic. The black label stitched inside says, “W.A Thompson & Co. Inc. of New York- Paris. Made in Philippines”.
The doubled sided snakeskin strap has two brass snaps that attach on the inside of the purse and can be tucked inside when used as a clutch or removed completely. The strap is 43 ½ inches long when measured separately. This snakeskin purse has great details in it such as its snakeskin covered snaps.
