Description:New Old Store Stock, just unpacked. Hand-painted and crafted Southwest StoryTeller figurine. The Storyteller figure represents Indian mothers, fathers, andgrandparents telling stories to their children in the interest of keeping andpreserving their cultural traditions andhistory. These Storytellers have become a treasured purchase by collectors theworld over.

This is a representation of anAmerican Indian with children who are setting on the lap and shoulders of theStoryteller. There are small representations of 9 children on this StoryTeller. Made at the Cleo Teissedre of Tucson, Arizona studio. Reproduced in hydro stone and hand painted.On the bottom of the figurine is a sticker which states that it was handcraftedin the U.S.A. Signed 90 Teissedre TB. Originally purchased in the 1990. Original box included.

Painted in jewel tones southwestcolors popular in the 1990\'s. The basecolor is a clay with red, dark teal, white and black accents No chips, nicks,cracks or scratches. It is in exceptional condition and looks fantastic for itsage of 24 years.

Measures approximately 5 1/2 inchestall, 3 inches at elbows wide and 5 inches length. This would make a great giftfor a grandparent, parent or anyone who is interested in our SouthwesternhistoryAll of my items come from asmoke-free Environment.
