We lifted the protective plastic cover over the silk for the pictures to better show you the Eagle on Silk without the glare. It is in mint condition and has only been out of its original box for pictures.This Vignette of an Eagle was originally used on the $5000 United States note, 1878 series. It featured the word \"America\" engraved in the foreground. William Chorlton did the engraving in 1872.
