This is a vintage 20” hard plastic doll that I believe dates to thelate 1940s. She is wearing her original dress, socks and shoes. The body ofthis doll is in very good condition -- all fingers intact, all teeth intact,face paint like new, nice hair, and no chips, scrapes or marks. This doll hasblue eyes, both of which are bright and shiny, BUT the eyes do not open andclose correctly (see photos).Clothing (taffeta dress and organdy sleeves) is in basically good condition --colors are bright, most seams are intact and metal snaps on back of dress areintact, there are some condition issues: a loose seam at waist, small tear inone sleeve, loose elastic in sleeves, sole missing from one shoe and loose soleon other shoe. Under the doll’s dress is a matching undergarment (perhaps a sunsuit?). The lower part of it is in very good condition, but I have not tried tounsnap the top of the dress for fear of damaging the delicate fabric, so Icannot verify what the top of the undergarment looks like.
