Great Antique 3mm French 8\" hammered copper sauce pan with cast iron handle and new stainless Mauviel lid. Pan lined with hand wiped tin. The tin in very good condition, see pictures # 5,6 & 7. This pan was manufactured by Mauviel, based on the fact the large rivets, the style of the long cast iron handle and the light planishing of the thick copper. It is Marked Made In France & A . Pan is not marked Mauviel because it was not made for export. I just received a number of these pans from myfriend in the Paris, France area. I just purchased new Mauviel lids for many of these 3mm pans. They are stainless lined - Mauviel no longer makes copper lids with tin lining and cast iron handles. The pan measures 8\" in diameter by 4.5\" high with a 9\" handle. Well made pan weighs approx. 7 pounds. Note* The pan is antique and has a few dings and dents - see pictures for details.
