LOVE this unusual and clever hat that dates from the 1930s! It is clever in that it is molded into a strongly asymmetrical shape: The crown tilts to the left which invites wearing the hat tilted to the right to compensate. That raises the left side, exposing the looped wide grosgrain ribbon under the rear left brim. Same ribbon comes through the rear felt brim and wraps around, being held in front by two Art Deco clips. They are actually plastic (celluloid?) with a soft metallic gold finish. Back of crown is rounded to cup the head, as this is molded into a kepi shape. Totally wonderful hat! There are no wires and the brim is simply pushed into the shape you desire when on the head.

Inner circumference 21\". Should best fit heads 21\" - 22 1/2\", based on how this fits me.

Condition is very good to excellent. No moth damage, no stains, no odors. There is a little gold finish loss on the front clips.
