You are looking at a vintage BRAND NEW United States 48 star sewn Flag still in the original box. The Flag is stamped with: VALLEY FORGE Flag CO. SPRING CITY, PENNA 5 X 9 1/2 FT. COTTON. The outside of the box has a mailing label that has a couple of dates. SEP 1948 and May 1946, I don\'t know the significances of those dates. It is also stamped with \"Stock No.5-F-4000 One each-Flag U.S. National Ensign Interment cotton bunting 5 ft. hoist, by 9 1/2 ft. fly Valley Forge Flag Company Spring City, Penna.\" When you open the box the original instruction sheet is there.There are NO holes or stains on this Flag. It still looks like new when it went into the box.
