Serving Cart, Trolley from the 50s in the Modernist Brass Wire
Style from Germany. It fits ideally in a Mid Century Modern Set-Up.
The cart also fits with the Magazine / Newspaper rack with
a miniature table attached and an ash tray that I have in
another sale (please see last picture).Many decorative and practical items in the 50s and early 60s were madewithbrass wire in a very simple elegant way (one can also see moreinfos about those items on the info-site www.teenagewasteland.de The frame of the cart is brass, the trays are white metal mesh.
The top tray can be taken off for using as a tray by itself.The measurements are:
L 74 x W 39 x H 61 cm;
Upper tray is L 50 x W 35 x H 2.5 cm
L 29\" x W 15.25\" x H 24\";
Upper tray is L 19.75\" x W 13.75\" x H 1\" Condition:
The cart has on the brass frame several age related corrosion spots,
but they are actually hardly recognizable. On the metal mesh are
minor age related signs.
Besides that the cart is still in good and stable condition.The cart is located in Germany and will be shipped worldwide.
In order to safe shipping costs, the serving cart will be
shipped dis-assembled. It is easy to assemble.
