Purchased in 1975 Antique Store in Ill. When purchased color was the original Victorian Pea Green....We Professionally had it repainted White...There is (1) paper label on 1 pc. of furniture but it was painted over..We have had (2) verbal appraisals and both feel that this Art Deco Wicker Set \"Wicker is 1920\'s fiber (a paper product) in apparently very good condition \". Approx. 1914 Marshall Burns Lloyd, Entrepreneur invented \"Lloyd Loom\" to weave wicker...He found using Man-Made Paper Fiber suitable for his mechanical loom, as both reed and willow would splinter...This fiber has shown in time to be more durable than the wood (this set is a testimonial to that)....
Marshall Burns Lloyd opened his factory in Menominee, Mich. 1500 employees ..The Loom process to make wicker furniture can be observed on U-Tube.
Many companies then started using this process in the early 1920\'s to make Art Deco Wicker Furniture.....I DO NOT KNOW THE MANUFACTURE OF THIS SET (painter painted over label). All pcs. of furniture original springs & supports...
