Offered at sale this week .... a rare vintage Zuni Mosaic Channel Inlay Ring in a gorgeous Fish Scale Design with beautiful natural turquoise reflecting the colors of the ocean. The Zuni are unparalleled at stone channel inlay, and this ring is a fine example of the laborious and meticulous technique employed in creating a wearable work of art such as this. Though not a large ring, it has great presence, with a radiance and intensity emanating from the play of lustrous silver and richly colored turquoise. Dimensions: The face of the ring with fish scale design is 18mm (approximately 3/4\") long and 13mm (approx. 9/16\") wide. The silver band graduates from 18mm to 4mm at rear. Sized 11-3/4 and weighing 9.6 grams, it is not signed, and tests fine grade sterling silver. Condition is excellent. A very beautiful and collectible piece, appropriate for either guy or gal.
