I don\'t know much about the history of this unique and beautiful piece other than it is marked Christine\'s Calif and is initialed DOP 60. If I had to venture a guess (and from the small amount of info I have been able to uncover) I would say that in the late 50s to early 60s there was a ceramic studio called Christine\'s Calif which churned out some very nice pieces with great lines, character and colours. This is the only piece I have ever seen and held in person. It is a divided (3 compartment) dish with its own handle and is footed on the bottom. It is an absolutely beautiful robin\'s egg blue colour. The approximate overall dimensions are: 11 1/2\" x 10\", weight 2 pounds. There are no major chips or cracks but there are a couple nicks here and there that you have to look for to see and certainly don\'t detract from the beauty of this piece.
