1960\'s Scholastic Model VRP-225T Transistor Classroom Phonograph Tube Amp Record Player- Extremely rare and hard to find portable suitcase-style turntable with detachable handle designed for school classroom use made by the Scholastic Publishing Company. This particular one was the property of Laurel Bay Schools in Laurel Bay- a military housing complex in the Beaufort/Hilton Head area of South Carolina. This record player is in excellent working condition- plays all sizes of records with no problem. Speaker sounds loud and clear. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit. Has some rust on metal hardware but its nothing that cant be fixed with an S.O.S pad or some steel wool.
