For sale is a vintage 24 inch vinyl doll. I have no idea the year but assume early 70s. I am not sure of the manufacturer. Looks like a Gotz face. She has blonde hair and blue eyes that sleep when she is put on her back. Adorable face. She comes in all of her original clothing and shoes. She has matching hat and scarf and is in very good condition. Heavy and well made. Unfortunately I am unable to get her to work. This is what I know. She is a foreign animated doll. There is an Italian minifon record player on her stomach that plays songs. The little records that came with her have an envelope that says SCHILDKROT. I am not sure if that is the manufacturers name is. The little records are blue yellow and red in color and they all feature songs that are in German. I do not know much about them but assume their children\'s nursery rhyme. She is also supposed to walk too.,There are two battery compartments one in the front is a C battery. The one on the back is unusual. I have been unable to find any batteries to fit in the compartment to see if it works. It is square opening with the negative and positive contact. I can\'t find out how to contact the manufacturer to locate another one. I know on the website for Schildkrot has a repair department. I guess the company has been around for ages and they have a department dedicated to repairing vintage dolls. However, all the information is in German and I don\'t have the time or energy to translate. The only flaw on her physically is a little red smudge on her ear and some of the plastic on her thighs is a bit yellowed. She has no major odors but does have a slight musty smell from being stored.
