Vintage 70s Hopi Carved 12\" Turkey Kachina Katsina Doll by Native Everett Curley

For your consideration is this beautiful rendition of the Turkey Kachina (Katsina) doll by renown Hopi carver Everett Curley.

This gorgeous kachina doll was hand carved out of top grade cottonwood and hand painted with dyes made from natural materials off the reservation. The colors are bright and crisp, and the details are amazing!

The Turkey Kachina measures approx 12\" tall, including base, with an 11\" wingspan. Hallmarked. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

** The Turkey Katsina (Koyona) appears with other birds in the Kivas at night or during the Mixed Dances of late spring. He is not a common Katsina and seems to be only from First Mesa. **
