For your consideration is this sensational high quality vintage hand carved Tawa Sunface Kachina doll by Hopi carver Avonne Naha, circa 1990s. Avonne is the wife of famous Hopi master carver Henry Naha and learned her skills from her husband. She hardly does any carvings anymore, so we were thrilled to be able to obtain a small collection carved by Avonne.

This gorgeous kachina doll was hand carved out of top grade cottonwood and hand painted with dyes made from natural materials off the reservation. From the hand carved feathers around the face to the realistic looking knee bells, this carving shows amazing and precise details!

Measures approx 12\" tall, including base, x about 5\" wide. Signed and dated by the Hopi master carver Avonne Naha. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
