Here is a wonderful vintage oil on canvas portrait of a attractive woman with blue eyes and a blue dress. This measures 21 1/4 x 27 1/8 ins., is unsigned or dated. She has her hair in a classic 1930s bob, and I would date this to the 1930s Depression era. It is in good vintage condition with a surface scratch to the side left top, a few more minor scratches and some edgewear, nothing too bad for age. I think this artist painted after American Illustrator Rolf Armstrong, since this looks similar to his work.
The artist captured a serious and intelligent gaze, she must have been an interesting woman. This is perfect for Art Deco, Modern, Jazz Age, and 1920-30s decors.
