ITEM DESCRIPTION

Antique hand tools - chisel #573:


Up for sale is a handy pig sticker Mortice CHISEL by known edge tool maker ATKIN & SONS of Sheffield.

5/16\" / 8.3mm width, with a homemade hooped handle, stamped on the side. 


Weight - 450g

Size: 8.3mm wide, the blade is 143mm long, 295mm overall.

The ruler in the photos is for measurements only, not for chisel is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, the user made handle is out of line to the blade & has some checking- the iron hoops are a great idea, some pitting, a good vintage pig sticker Mortice chisel by Atkin & Sons.
