My artistic designs are created from reinvention with pre-owned vintage, distressed and salvaged materials that may have signs of wear, odors, fading and imperfections. These are the marks of history and glamour that I love to find in an old piece. I am a self-taught artist that still mix manually paintings and aging patinas, not store bought. It takes a lot of inspiration and work, but this is what makes my art so special and unique. The beauty of imperfection!Original metal holder with glass condiment cups. I replaced one cup for an old glass bottle. The glass has imperfections, which is normal in antique glass pieces, not perfect clear like new glass.
One of the pink cups has a tiny chip almost not perceptible.
- I added the metal flowers to the top of the holder and embellished with rhinestones. The metal was painted in an off-white and aged it with dust patina.
- The bottle has a lace bow and a vintage rhinestone piece. The stopper is made from a vintage frosted Pink chandelier glass drop. (the colored water was added for photo shooting as suggestion only)
