Al Mar Falcon model 1003 with original paper micarta scales. The early USA/SEKI-JAPAN designation on the blade would date this knife from 1979 to about 1982. It has been carried and used and has numerous abrasions on the bolsters but appears to me to have not been resharpened. The function is smooth and tight with no blade play in any position. The blade is made from high carbon, stain resistant steel, RS 30 (Japan) which is equal to 154CM (US) which was developed especially for Masahiro CUtlery Co, located in Seki City. This steel gives exceptional edge-holding quality and combines strength and durability with ease of sharpening. Stainless steel bolsters with brass liners.Blade length is 3\", OAL is 7\".
