Please notice that, although listed under \"quilts\", this is just a quilt TOP: it is NOT a quilt or bedspread, as there is no batting or backing beneath the pieced fabrics shown in the photos.
The makers set this by hand (pic # 10). The fabrics are all 100% cotton, as far as we can tell, but they are no feed sacks or very old fabrics. This quilt top was probably made in the 1980\'s or so.
The pattern is a variation of Flower Garden where there are blocks made with printed and black fabrics, surrounded by Flower Garden blocks made of just white fabric.
It measures approximately 86\" by 73\" across. The bed is a queen, 80\" by 60\".

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE : in the title and in description above we say the fabrics are 100% cotton. That is an error: they are rather COTTON BLENDS, not pure cotton.
