I am selling this for my cousin. It was part of her mothers collection. I know very little about native American jewelry, however I did have the item appraised by a well know native American jewelry store owner in Mesa, Arizona. I am listing the item using information obtained from him and describing the item to the best of my knowledge.

Hand made Native American ring - appraised at $80 - $100 retail.

Nice hand made bezel.

Believed to be New Mexico Navajo - letter J is stamped on the back.

Appraiser said the stone was most likely fossilized mastodon tusk.WEIGHT:18 grams.VINTAGE:Believed to be from the 1980\'s. Oval face . is 7/8\" x 1 7/8\"

Ring is approximately size 8.

Excellent shape with no visible defects.
