This is a vintage aluminum bolt on hood scoop from the 50\'s or 60\'s. This is a true vintage hot rod part in very good condition. I have seen Offenhauser scoops that are similar but have 3 striped sections, this one only has 2. I don\'t see any markings inside or out. The scoop measures about 14 inches long, 10.25 inches wide, and 3.5 inches tall at the longest points. This is a real deal vintage part.
This scoop is in very good original condition as shown. There are no breaks, modifications, or repairs. The finish is awesome with no corrosion or damage. It looks awesome as is and would shine like crazy with some polishing. This would make a great cherry on top of you hot rod! It would also be a great wall hanger in your garage, shop, or mancave.
