A vintage / antique 1 gallon red galvanized metal gas can with a wire bail and wood handle. It\'s stenciled in black across the front \'GASOLINE\'. There\'s just a hint of black on the areas just below that which may have had some identifying information but so much of the black paint has worn off that it\'s impossible to even guess what it may have been. This can measures approximately 7 1/4\" high from the floor to the top rim of the can (not including the raised areas with the spout, cap and handle) X 6 3/4\" in diameter. It\'s dirty and there\'s some surface rust but overall the can appears to be solid and sturdy. Both of the metal covers were surprisingly easy to unscrew.Please view all of the photos I\'ve provided (use the zoom feature if it\'s available).
