Pleasenote this sale is for everything you see-- the roombox, the doll and all the furnishings you see are included- since most are original to the shop, we couldn\'t bear to part it out! And we wanted to show you how the consigneroriginally displayed this!

This week we have more from a really topnotchcollection of antique and older, vintage dollhouse items, recentlydecommissioned from a private doll and toy museum. We hate to play favorites, but isn\'t this the most darling shop you ever saw? And everything you see in the pictures is included in this sale!

This exceptional Art Deco piece isn\'t marked, but is likely by Buco, one of the finer firms in Germany- and look at that stylish design! Though vintage, it luckily is in a good larger size to fit in with larger scaled dolls- Ginny or Madame Alexander would feel right at home! It\'s one of the most unusual shops we\'ve seen yet- it not only has the little drawers you see so often in German shops, but it also has nify asymmetrical shelves on one side and a wider base to store everything in! It\'s so compact- don\'t tell me you have no space for it!

It has its original vibrant green and ivory yellow paint- and look at the graceful scalloped edging on the shelves- can\'t get much more Art Deco than that! The shelves also have Deco curved edges, and all the original drawers and fittings are all there, with the original metal handles and paper name plates- usually these shops are found missing something, but this is all complete!

Most of the shop items are vintage 40s-50s, and many are a bit big in scale- but you sure get a variety! There are boxes, glass bottles, candy bars (wooden inside), cans, cheeses, printed paper bags, wool skeins, a metal scoop. and little round tins! You also get a wonderful tin scale with brass bowl that really measures- how cool is that! There\'s also the original red tin German cash register, which rings and the drawer opens. And as if that\'s not enough, you also get some tiny play coins to pay for your purchases!

A few paint chips to edges, but this is so delightful it\'s like you took a time machine to a German toyshop! Dust, dirt, and wear as to be expected.

Useyour own good common sense, ask questions before an sale ends, andexpect an item to have a unique patina and history all its own- withimperfections inherent in antique pieces!
