On my recent trip home to England I found this gorgeous antique brooch at a small antique market.

It is in really good condition with little wear.

The markings on the back indicate the following:

Lion - Sterling Silver

P - 1910-1915

Anchor - City of Birmingham

The maker\'s mark appears to be S.BROs, and this would be the mark for Sheldon Brothers :Charles Thomas & William Samuel Sheldon trading as Sheldon Brothers, manufacturing jewellers, Vyse Street, Birmingham 1913-1916

It has a straight pin with a C fastener

1 1/2\" wide

Almost 1\" tall
