This stunning ring is an antique Edwardian/Victorian era 18 karat white gold filigreebasket mount holding a natural smokey topaz and what I believe is anemerald step cut. It is definately a smokey topaz, I am just unsure of the name of the cut.

The ring is not marked but I took to a jeweler who tested and said it is 18 karat white gold natural topaz stone. It is unusual to find this stone set in white gold. The stone measures approximately .75 inches long and .50 inches wide. Quite a substantial ring. It is beautiful and glossy shimmers in light. Itis faceted on the underside as you can see in photos which I believe is step cut on the underside but am not sure.. There is a minute chip I saw around the edge which you should be able to see in the photos under 10X magnification. It is not large or obvious.

This is a very large stone and the ring is beautiful. I have lowered theopening offer with a very reasonable buy it now. This is truly a gorgeous ring and well worth the starting and buy it now price.
