antique large sitting gnome doll, maybe it was a store window decoration
original felt clothing, belt is missing
body made of a kind of foam material, hard but flexible, the head is hard and turnable, could be paper mache with felt covering
the hands are separetely attached and of stuffed felt
I have no idea if this is a professional production item or some kind of handmade OOAK doll. My first thought was Schuco, but I could not find a similar doll from them.
It is very old, 30s or 50s, I am not sure, the specialist of you will know better
the doll is not cleaned, still a bit dusty and has 5 small holes of moth in the stocking cap, original as found condition
the doll only is 16.5 inches high, overall including cap is 55 cm ( 21.6 inches ), weight is 518 g
