Here is a very nice vintage hand-carved mug/tankard. I do not know if this is a Black Forest carving or just an artisan carved similar piece.It measures 3 x 6 3/4 ins and is in good as is vintage condition.I do not see any markings on it. It has intricate high relief carvings of leaves,grapes,and other decorations on the surround.The inside liner looks to be brass. Trying to guess the age of it I would probably say anywhere from the 1950-60s time period.I have no history behind it except I bought it in the mountains of North Carolina.A nice collectible for someone who enjoys hand carved vintage wood pieces.Any questions, feel free to email me,
