12\" Tall Pair Chinese or Japanese Porcelain Vases
Matching pair of vintage Oriental vases decorated with thick colorful textured glaze applied and paintedall the way around with butterfly on opposite sides, large puffy Carnation orChrysanthemumflowers with leaves andfoliage.These stand 12\" tall and are 4\"acrossthe top on a raised base is 3 3/4\" across and areunsigned with no makers marks or signatures. These were an estate sale purchase many years ago. I was told they made around 1910 but not sure if this was accurate.
Condition Notes:one has chip on bottom, the other has two very fine and faint fine hairlines inside and both have dirt on the bottom inside the base. There are some missing or broken pieces of the colored applied glaze in the decoration and some crackle or crazing seen in the large flowers. I willdouble box and always pack safe.
