Please see all pictures as this forms the major description of the item. The correct Royal Doulton stamp is etched into the stoneware on the bottom , it carries anothersignaturewhich I cannot make out, looks like a J or perhaps f and B perhaps, also there are numbers stamped on bottom 1190.Condition is good there are no major problems, one or 2 tiny rough spots on the top rim and the inner lid when turned upside down has 2 noticeable chips , otherwise its a great piece.The Brass screw works well and when undone the tripod brass top ismaneuveredout to allow opening of the jar, the lid contains a sealing ring which is in good order. The Jar is meticulously clean inside and when opened it smells of Tobacco. A stunningly ornate Item.
