Up for offer is this rare, vintage sterling silver 5 pc tea/coffee set. The set includes a serving tray, a coffee pot, a tea pot, a covered sugar bowl and a creamer. It is beautifully detailed with scalloped edging around the top of the sugar bowl and the pots. Each piece has a raised, almost repousse like, floral design and stands on footed feet.The top of the lid on the teapot, coffee pot and sugar bowl has a \"rose\" finial on it.This is a beautiful set in very good condition and would make a fantastic addition to anyone\'s collection. However, please keep in mind that this set is from the early 1900\'s and is not in brand new condition. The platter/tray has the most noticeable wear with scratches on it. From our research Spritzer & Fuhrmann were Jewish men who separately fled Europe in the 1930\'s and then met in Curacao. They started a successful jewelry store and expanded throughout Europe and even had a store in NYC. Unfortunately they are no longer in business. The term HANDARBEIT means Hand Crafted in German.
