This stunning narrow side cabinet came from England where it was made around the year 1960. Its 16″ depth makes it the ideal piece for behind a sofa, in hallway or entryway, or on a landing. The useful sized coupled with its beautiful wood grain make this piece a must have for any home!

Although the color is not dark, this cabinet is made from mahogany. It was just stained a light color which really gives the grain a chance to pop as you will notice on the cabinet doors. Great looking cross banding and string inlay gives the cupboard depth and warmth. Simple brass swan neck pulls on the drawers provide a little dark contrast in a subtle way. A shaped apron runs between the bracket feet no only on the front, but also on the sides!

Obviously made with care, this narrow side cabinet is sturdy and strong. Both drawers have dovetailed joints. Dovetails are the strongest way to join drawers and mean they will last for many years to come. Inside the locking cabinet (which comes with a key) is one shelf which can adjust to several different positions via a brass pigeon hole system.

The condition of this wonderful piece is very good! It has survived the years with one two small blemishes both of which can be found on the feet. The right back and front feet have small chips to them which we highlighted in the photos. If you need some storage or a stunning piece of furniture in a tight space, this narrow side cabinet is the piece for you!
